Los Angeles- There are some people out there that simply aren’t afraid to put their heads down and put in the work needed to really establish yourself as part of the fabric of the society that we live in and DJ R.A.W. aka B-Boy 3000 aka 6Blocc (or simply Raul to those of us that know him..) is one of those people.
From the early days of the rave scene here in the US to present day touring around the world dropping bass heavy bombs on throngs of listeners that come to see him throw it down as only he can, R.A.W. is one of the hardest working guys in the business.
On June 5th, 2010, a collective of DJs, MCs, artists of all flavors and a ton of people that both know and love R.A.W. for the work he’s put in over the years, are gathering at The Airliner to honor all of his contributions including helping secure L.A.’s position as one of the top electronic music scenes in America and the world!
For the DnB heads, they’re bringing out Twisted Individual (Grid UK) along with OG West Coast bad boy DJ R.A.W. (Junglist Platoon LA) in the headline slots along with local faves 2Cents (Compression SF), Lukeino (Sublife Recs SF) and Noah (Primitive Science SF) & microphone support by none other than Colonel MC.
For the Dubsteppers, get ready for the Scion West Coast Dub invasion featuring 2 of my favorite DJs in the game, 12th Planet (SMOG LA) & 6Blocc (Lo Dubs LA)! If you’ve never seen these guys throw down in the showdown, then get ready for some seriously SICK dubplates and heavy duty party rockin’ selections from both of them. Local support provided by Knorsq (Bombadub LA), Pawn (SMOG LA/SF), Salokin (Rukkuz Muzik SF), Vinja (VinjaMusic.net SF) and mic support by Zezo One and MC Child.
Los Angeles – LA Based DJ / Producer, Kutmah was born in the UK to an Egyptian mother and Scottish father. He moved to the US with his mother when he was 12 years old. They immediately applied for residency to keep them from being sent to Egypt. As a British citizen the court ruled that he would be able to live in the UK which in their eyes wasn’t such a bad place. They denied their application.
Kutmah and his Mom returned to court to plead their case 14 years ago when Kutmah was 20. They were again denied a green card and were urged to sign a document stating they would voluntary leave the US.
On Wednesday morning, May 5th armed agents entered Kutmah’s house and detained him. He was brought to a facility in downtown LA where he was interrogated. On Thursday he was moved to New Mexico. We need to show how important Kutmah is to the LA and US community. Please write a letter and spread the word!
San Francisco- Local bad boys of bass, Compression SF & Rukkuz Muzik are back again to melt faces with a DnB & Dubstep lineup that only they can bring!
For the Junglists: 2009 DnB Awards Winner, Original Sin is headed to our stomping grounds alongside Canada’s DJ Maniak to drop some seriously heavy business on the 415. Local faves 2Cents, DJ Sharp, Colonel MC & Zezo One will be providing support for the evening.
“Original Sin is the new production alias of Adam Tindall (one half of the now defunct Generation Dub/G Dub/Double Zero). Original Sin’s “Don’t Be Silly”, “D for Danger” and “Ra! (Original Sin Remix)” have helped him establish his individual production style. Two songs have been released under Adam’s second alias (Killa Hurt) on Frontline Records. In late 2009, Original sin released his first album ‘Grow Your Wings’ which was critically acclaimed by the likes of Grooverider and DJ Hype. In 2009 Original Sin was awarded Best New Artist in DNB awards… Thanks to these many acheivements. Original Sin has now become one of the leading names in the drum and bass scene.
DJ Maniak
Now he’s teamed up with his girl, DJ Maniak, who’s been rocking the Canadian seen for many years and now on the up and up with her production and DJ skills…”
If you haven’t already, you need to go out and get those pre-sales HERE and we’ll see everyone out there!

Los Angeles- For the past 3 years, there has been an annual event in LA that let’s all of us know that the Summer is just around the corner, and that means the return of SoCal’s favorite day party, I LOVE LA.
DJ APX1 and his partner-in-crime DJ CRS? along with support from Steel Lions Sound and a cavalcade of DJs & Emcees come together the last Sunday of every month from April-October to bring you the BEST that SoCal has to offer in terms of Dubstep, Electro and of course, Drum-n-Bass.
This year is no exception and the rite of passage that we call “The Annual 420 Edition” is sure to be an event not to be missed. Whether you come for the basslines or the free cookie giveaways, you’re sure to leave the event with wobbly legs.
As soon as we hear what the confirmed lineup is, we’ll be sure to update you, but in the meantime, make sure to mark your calendars for this one!
San Francisco- Tonight is the night. The stage is set. The UK contingency has arrived on US soil and it’s time once again for DnB heads throughout America to welcome The World of Drum and Bass back for another round of raucous good times, heavy basslines and the world’s top DnB & Dubstep talent
