Hmmm, seems to me it would have been faster, cheaper, and easier just to make the thing in a 3D app, instead of sculpting it, scanning it, and fixing it.

pat it down with your finger tips, and then take 91% alcohol on a makeup pad apply firmly to your sculpt. it eases out the imperfections not entirely but does a pretty great job.
Awesome, video helped out alot, but quick question, I ain’t no sculptor, never really worked with clay other than wet clay. I just started working on my own and I cannot for the friggen life of me get the thing smooth. I have been working on it for about a week now and it’s still lumpy as hell, I’ve raked it, tapped it repeatedly, hell I even used turpenoid, and it’s still either lumpy or ‘streaky’. Advice?
